Return Home to Wholeness

Welcome! My name is Genjo Tre Williams (he/him). I am a trauma-informed, embodiment-based psychotherapist in Western North Carolina. Weaving together relational practice, mindfulness and meditation, and depth psychology, I work with folks dealing with a variety of issues, including  adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief/death/loss, spirituality/religion and social identities. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I'm also a student of Zen Buddhism, nature-lover, and aikido practitioner. My stance is LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC affirming, decolonial, and anti-oppressive. If you would like to book a free 15-20 min. phone consultation, use the contact form below. I look forward to hearing from you!

Life is an ongoing process of discovery, deepening, and letting go. It is sometimes a hard and confusing process, but together we can make it a joyful, judgement-free, loving, exciting endeavor full of wonder and curiosity. In the words of Dogen Zenji, "You have gained the pivotal opportunity of human form, do not use your time in vain." Or as Little Simz leads us, "I got one life and I might just live it." Together, let's get back to the business of living life fully.
